He said Bryan is a Lincoln resident who wants to make
Oscar's "a satisfactory Lincoln business," and that it
was unfair to harshly penalize a business open 18 hours
a day for problems occurring in three and one-half hours.
Assistant City Attorney Dana Roper closed by stating
that the same ownership exists now as during the time
of the violations, but Oscar Mueller has only brought
in new people.
"We have heard this song before, only the tune may
have changed a little," Roper said. "We are not in a posi
tion to tolerate this any longer."
A decision on the application is expected within two
weeks, according to commission chairman Phil Weaver.
