School nf Mlislr rwhactra ..,(11 - i.w - - uivubouo w iu pi call 11 a free public concert at 8 p.m. Saturday in Kimball Mall. Dr. Robert A. Emile will conduct a program including works by Rossini, Mozart and Glazounow. Soloist with the orchestra will be senior soprano Denise Hurley. The Saturday night concert is a change from the Sunday afternoon schedule followed by the university symphony in the past several years. One Saturday night and one Sunday afternoon program will be presented each semester, Emile said. The symphony also will accompany two operas and two oratorios presented by the School of Music. Orchestral works on the Saturday night program will include the overture from Gioacchino Rossini's opera "The Thieving Magpie," and "Symphony No. 5, Opus 55" by 20th century Russian composer Alexandre Glaz ounow. Hurley will sing two arias from Mozart's opera "The Marriage of Figaro." Dr. Emile said this year's university symphony includes a number of outstanding young instrumentalists.
