Repeats of the programs will be aired on Sundays at 5 pjn., except for the opening program on Sunday, Sept. 17, which is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. The series also will air at 8 a jn . on Thursdays , beginning Sept .21. The Long Search explores the world's primary religions, the beliefs on which they are based, their cere monial observances, cultures and the vast spectrum of deities, idols, creators, spirits and powers that man worships. In the first program in the series, "Protestant Spirit USA," host Ronald Eyre, British playwright and director, visits Indianapolis, Indiana, where 1,100 churches are lo cated, to look at a "bewildering multiplicity of Protestan tism". The Long Search is being offered as a non-credit college level coune through the SUN program of college-at-home courses of the Division of Continuing Studies, University of Nebraska-Lincoln. It also will be included in the program schedule for the Nebraska Educational Television Council for Higher Education, Inc. (NETCHE).
