attack.

in prison, puts his past experience
with crime to use in his first case in
a special preview presentation of
'Kaz,' a new drama series to be
presented on CBS-TV Sunday,' Sept.
10.
Just released from prison, his
business cards barely dry, Martin
('Kaz') Kazinski (Ron Leibman, pic
tured) applies for a job with bamuei
Bennett (Patrick O'Neal), the head of
a prestigious law firm.
Sensing a unique quality in the
gutsy, single-minded young man,
Bennett is intrigued but not yet ready
to risk the reputation of his well
established firm by hiring him.
However, Bennett does use his
considerable influence to throw a
case Kaz's way his first to defend
a black man charged with assault and
robbery.
Kaz knows that he's expected to
plea-bargain and dispense with a trial
but he believes his client's claim that
he's innocent.
