Excitement and anticipation filled die
air at die state fairgrounds Thursday.
Security guards were busy directing the
incoming flood of trailers and cars.
Employees were busy setting up stands,
rides and exhibits across the midway.
The sounds of hammers pounding, car
horns tooting and general activity were
everywhere.
The fair officially begins today and ex
pects to draw thousands from across the
state.
