being eyed
for Nader

Program Council is search
ing for a speaker who will
use up the last of the
mandatory student fee
money.

Milliken said he has talked
to five agents about 50 diff
erent speakers and a
decision has not been made
as to who will speak.

was told Monday that Ralph
Nader, nationally known
consumer rights activist,
may come.
If a contract is signed,
Madcharo said, Nader will
speak April 27 and would
be on campus most of the
day, speaking to NUPIRG
that day and other students
that night.
Nader would be paid
$3,500, Madcharo said.
Although Milliken said
Nader had been contacted
about speaking at UNL, he
said no final decision has
been made.
