All student parties must file a party state
ment of intent with the ASUN secretary in
the ASUN office by 4 pjn., February 24th,
1978.
All candidates andor parties must file
financial forms with the ASUN secretary

Filing forms, financial form and other

Bakery can bank
on Valentine's Day
This year's Valentine's Day was a sweet treat for
Nebraska Union's retail bakery.
According to Bob Richeson, assistant food service
director, sweethearts bought $677 worth of goodies
The total included not only valentine cakes .and cookies
but donuts, cakes and cookids regularly Sold by the -bakery.
'
Valentine's Day is the best day of the, year for the
retail bakery, Richeson said. This year's valentine sales
more than doubled those of a normal day and were $60
higher than last year.-
Richeson said sales usually total $225 to $250 daily.
This year students also could buy valentine heart cookies
in the lobby of the union. Nearly 175 cookie were Sold
at $1.09 each.
Richeson said the bakery makes .baked goods for
special occasions. Plans soon will be underway for St.
Patrick's Day baked goods.
Richeson said Easter and Christmas also are impor
tant holidays for the bakery.
