ANNIVERSARY
CELEBRATION
A four-hour gala special preempting
an entire evening of primetime pro
gramming and featuring ABC's family
of stars past and present, 'ABC's
Silver Anniversary Celebration,' will
air on Sunday, Feb. 5.
Celebrating the first 25 years of the
American Broadcasting Company's
current corporate structure, the
special will combine the resources of
ABC Entertainment, ABC News and
ABC Sports.
"The keyndte for this special an
niversary program will be to offer a
sense of fun and nostalgia for the
audience," ABC-TV President Freder
ick S. Pierce said. Dick Clark (pictured
with guest Annette Funicetto) will be
