"We watch a lot of summer leagues and tournaments,"
Cipriano said. "A lot of the good high school seniors play
in leagues during the summer.
Cipriano said the major summer tournaments and
leagues are in New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Phila
delphia, San Diego, San Francisco, Las Vegas and
Phoenix.

basketball scouting services. There are about ten services
operating in various parts of the country, he said.

The Husker women's volleyball team was eliminated
from the National Invitational tourney Saturday in Los
Angeles. The Huskers lost to Portland State 15-17,8-15
and to the University of Southern California (USC),
4-15, 5-15. UNL split with the University of Arizona,
15-8, 14-16. UCLA, Southern California, Pepperdine
University and the University of Utah are the four teams
contending for the title.
The UNL Men's gymnastic team finished third Satur
day in the Big 8 Invitational meet at Lawrence, Kan.
The Huskers finished with 393 points, behind Iowa State
University's 425 and the University of Oklahoma's 396.
The Huskers had no first places.
There will be a Lady 'N Club meeting at 7 p jn. Tues
day in the South Stadium lounge. Any persons interested
in joining also should attend.
