" . Kathleen Lehr, head of the dietary deparment, said diabetics and those with allergies are among the students who need special diets. For example "a liquid diet would be . provided to someone who had recently had jaw surgery and has his jaw wired shut," Mrs. Lehr said. Students who need special diets but live in a residence hall can take their meals at the Health Center's outpatient dining room for a charge, Lehr said. The residence hall food service meal ticket can be invali dated, she added. Last year the health center served about seven students on special diets, she said.
