page 2 daily nebraskan thursday, September 15, 1977 ASUN, awaits lawyer nominee's ok An ASUN nominee for attorney of the Student Legal Services is expected to notify ASUN executives of his de cision sometime this morning, according to Ken Christ offersen, ASUN second vice president. Speaking at Wednesday night's ASUN Senate meeting, Christoffersen said this is the organization's second choice The first choice nominee declined the position be cause of it's "uncertain future," Christoffersen said. He said the nominee is in his late 20's and currently works with a private law firm. The first two choices were "very close," said Christof fersen, adding, "I don't think we've compromised our standards of excellence." In other business, the ASUN Senate passed a resolution -calling for a "meeting of the Parking Advisory Board at "the earliest convenience." mil simm!. Jaworski not sure he would accept Washington-Leon Jaworski said Wednesday he is not sure he would accept a formal invitation from South Korea to visit there in connection with his investigation of alleged Korean influence buying in Congress. Suit filed Omaha, Neb,-a $24 million suit has been filed in U.S. District Court by a woman who alleges she was kicked in the stomach and denied adequate medical treatment after an incident at Gordon, Neb, Mrs. Jo Ann .Yellow Bird of Bennett; S.D., wife of Robert Yellow Bird, active in the American Indian t Movement in Nebraska, filed the suit against several law officers, the operators of a lounge, a doctor and a hospital. Mrs. Yellow Bird alleged in the suite that she was kicked by a Gordon policeman and later delivered a still born child. The incident occurred Sept. 15, 1976, at the Sheridan Hotel Lounge at Gordon. Mrs. Yellow Bird said she was seven months pregnant at the time. She said she ; was sprayed with chemical Mace during the indicent. Flood damage Kansas City, . Mo-Missouri Gov. Joseph P..
