The Huskers downed Drake 15-5, 154, 15-8 at the Coliseum, Husker Coach Terry Pettit said UNL played well for a first game. "We haven't had time to work on team skills, Pettit said. So we just went out to have a good time." Pettit praised the performacne of Sue Leudtker, Ann Haberman and Connie Bloom and the team's offense. Setting is a major part of UNL's offense and it is es pecially important to improve those skills, Pettit said. UNL has good athletes, but is not a good team yet, Pettit said. He said he has live or six athletes who could become team leaders. Luedtke said she often assumes the leadership role because she is a setter. "My position on the court makes it easy for me to be a leader," she said. "I stand out there and keep the girls talking." The team goal, she said is to win region als. UNL has placed second at regionals the last two years. Results Saturday Alabama 35 ....... . Mississippi State 13 Oklahoma 25 ..........
