enlistment increase by Sept.

line, said Sergeant Wallace
Gant, of the Air National
Guard.
The Air Guard currently
operates at a 82 per cent
capacity. Gant said he hopes
for a 96 per cent level,

The reason for the de
crease in enlistment pro
bably stems back to the
draft days, he said. Those
who enlisted during the
draft are now finishing their
