Another college may be catching CBA's disease
The College of Engineering and Technology
is showing symptoms of the same epidemic that
hit the College of Business Administration last
year and the housing dept. this fall-overcrowding.
Although the diagnosis has not been confirmed, George
Hanna, dean of the college of engineering and technology,
said the dept. is considering limiting the college's enroll-
ment.

but definite figures will not be available until later this

students. After exploring several methods of limitation
and talking to the college's executive committee last
week, Hanna said he will present the problem at a faculty
meeting next week.
Meanwhile, Hanna said he is waiting for an estimation
of the number of students turned away for use in
his faculty presentation.
According to Hanna, the students who pre-registered
are generally all right as far as getting in the right sections.
He said the transfer students are the ones hurt by the
crunch.
The only, cure for the college's overcrowding seems to
be. the amputation of part of its student body, he said.
