Sponsored by the Family Service Association, the fair will run from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. in the Gateway Shopping Center Auditorium. "The fair will consist of 25 to 30 booths representing different areas in the community," said Carole Kubert, public relations chairman for the Family Service Association. "We are trying to provide families the opportunity to have fun inexpensively and show them ways to spend time together," she said. The State Game and Parks Commission, the public libraries, Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and various hobby groups are a few of the organizations that will be participat ing, she said. Musical entertainment and demonstra tions on how to make nutritional and inexpensive snacks will be provided. Artist Reinhold Marxhausen will demonstrate how to make toys and games out of junk, she said. One of the booths will show camping and hiking places in Nebraska, and inform people how to do these activities "without spending $800 worth of equipment," Kubert said. There will be activities for all age groups, she said, with emphasis on parent and child interaction. Funded by the Family Service Associa tion and donations, the fair will be free to the public. The fair is lacking in UNL participants, Kubert said. Although the University was contacted, there was little response. She said she believed it was because the wrong people were contacted, and the association did not know how to contact the right people." , "i r r r- . . for (Sasr Qadi & Starting April 20 thru April 30, Team Service Center will repair any car stereo or radio for only $10.00 plus parts.
