Students offered insight
The University Counseling Center is
offering students- an opportunity to
discover their personalities and career
interests next Wednesday and, Thursday
afternoons.
Career and Personal Awareness Days
"should give the students better insight on'
their personal and occupational interests,"
said Vernon Williams, director of the
Counseling Center.
Williams said inventories, designed to
evaluate personalities, will be distributed
to any student wishing to be tested.
Two weeks after the testing, a counsel
ing appointment will be, made with the
student to define the inventory results,
he said.
Results are determined on comparisons
between the , student , and tested
professionals in the field the student is
pursuing, Williams said.
He said students' . personalities are
classified according to individual com
parisons to a previously defined
personality
"These tests don't tell everything, but
we feel they will help direct the student,"
Williams said. .
Interested students must preregister,
he said.
Registration can be made Monday and
Tuesday, from 8 a.m. to 5 pjn. and Wed
nesday from 8 a.m. till noon, by calling
or visiting the Counseling Center, third
floor Seaton Hall.
