Ray, voted the Big 8 Conference newcomer of the year, was declared scholastically ineligible this semester and was suspended from the MU squad. Ray averaged nine points a game for the Tigers. MU's balanced attack has four players with better scoring averages than Ray's. Sims and Anderson average ' 15 points a game, while Johnson adds 12 points a game. Stewart said what pleases him more than the scoring is the transition of senior Jim Kennedy from forward to guard. i "It (the transition) really didn't make any difference to me," Kennedy said. With this exposure, well get them to watch us in the Sports Cen ter." The women's squad, v 3-2 for the year in dual action, will face a USD team that is competing for the first time this year.
