The winner of this one could play Pitt in the Orange
Bowl. Oklahoma State, with the conference's best running
back in Terry Miner, is making its first serious bid at the
Big 8 title in years. Vince Ferregamo, the Big 8's leading
passer, will be throwing into a secondary that ranks first
in the conference in pass defense. A more balanced attack
and 76,000 crazy, red-clad fans give the Huskers the ad
wantage. See you in Miami. The Daily Nebraskan wants
NEBRASKA 29, OKLAHOMA STATE 15
Kansas is the Big 8's biggest dissappointment this season
and towa State the biggest surpise. Iowa State is thinking
of a bowl game this year, while Kansas, with too many in
jured starters, is waiting for the basketball season. The
Daily Nebraskan believes IOWA STATE 30, KANSAS 14.

Pity poor K State. The Sooners are out of the top 20 for
the first time in 5 years, are facing another NCAA inves
tigation, and have yet to see their offense explode this
year. The Sooners are mad and this should be the weak
end they tight up the scoreboard. When the smoke clears,
the Daily Nebraskan says OKLAHOMA 43, KANSAS
STATE 7.

Colorado needs this one badly and may finally have found
its offense last week against Oklahoma. According to hs
pattern this season, Missouri, an off-on team, should be
on this week. This high scoring donnybrook could go
either way. The Daily Nebraskan envisions COLORADO
31, MISSOURI 31.

This game features two fine teams and could be the best
game in the nation Saturday. A Sugar Bowl bid hinges on
the game. Florida has won six in a raw, but Georgia
should rise to the occasion. Look for Georgia to be in
New Orleans over New Year's. The Daily Nebraskan
thinks GEORGIA 24. FLORIDA 17.
