KRNU, besides being a laboratory for broadcast jounuiizn students, offers a variety of progranmins ranging from classical music to Spanish lacue pro granxnin;. - Although the format of the station has remained largely the same, there are programme charges and additions this semester. In addition to the broadcast of the Metropolitan Opera from New York on Saturdays and the da2y cMcsl broadcasts from 11 pjn. to midnight, there wEl be a ffirl music program originating from Canada from 6:30 to 8 pja. Sundays. Besides a variety of network news and features, KRNU features a middle-of-the-road music program of light rock and jazz during the day, and top 40 during the evening. Attempts are being made to schedule mere album cuts daring tieveriiig hours. .
