for executive program
British House of Commons member Ian Wriesworth
will speak at 3:30 p jn. today in the third floor lounge of
the College of Business Administration Bldg.
Besides discussing Britain's rele in Europe, Wriggles
worth ssid he wiH talk about the European Economic
Community, consumer affairs, taxation and financial and
economic policies.
Wrigfjesworth is this year's first guest of CBA's Execu-tive-In-Residence
Program, which Smith said brings. top
business people and administrators in government, bus
iness and education to speak on the UNL campus.
'It's not a program we spend money on here, Smith
said. He added that although CBA selects them, the
guests' organizations sponsor the program as part of com
pany educational relations. The U.S. State Dept. is spon
soring Vrigg!esworth's visit
Smith said the invited guests are distributed among
sections representing general and specialized fields of
business, as well as government officials and people who
will discuss current issues and ethics.
Past executives-in -residence have included representa
tives from General Motors, Phillips Petroleum Co., the
Navy and the UJS. Department of Commerce.
