Nebraska's All-Star Presidential Preference Primary is
next month, and some of the all-stars have begun,
dropping in to campaign for it.
Democratic Sen. Frank Church of Idaho was in Lincoln
and. Omaha last Wednesday to open his campaign head
quarters and shake a few hands. This will be the first
primary test of Church's recently announced candidacy.
Church spoke in his headquarters in Lincoln and later
at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. Seven more visits
to the state by Church are planned, according to Joe
McCarter, his western states coordinator.
