A I Student's trial is Tuesday A UNL jujor elementary education major, from Lincoln has been arrested and charged with concealing stolen property. Debra Nelson was arrested Feb. 6 after campus police found a rhino boot in her car, according to Campus Police Lt. Robert Edmunds. ' " Nelson, who has pleaded innocent, will stand trial Feb. 17. v According to police reports, the rhino boot was attached to Nelson's car Feb. 5 because of unpaid parking violations. Later that day an officer discovered the boot. and car gone. John Duve, Campus Police parking and traffic coordinator, said this is the fifth incident in which a boot allegedly has been illegally removed. He said the removals probably resulted from improper application and not from a mechanical breakdown of the boot. Edmunds said that this is the first time charges relating to an illegal boot removal have been filed. There are no provisions under university policy to deal with rhino boot removals, he said. getting OOO0OOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO0OOOOOO Spend ft W at the Grove Mon.-Recession Night Tues. - Ladies Night Wed - A-Go-Go-Contest Thurs.-Tequila Night Fri.-Sat-B.M.G.&F.
