posed change in representa
tion on the Agriculture Ad
visory Board.
The change is being pro
posed by the current board.
The idea behind the change
is to better represent the
agriculture students on the
board, said Larry Rasmus
sen, board president. -
The change involves re
grouping agriculture majors
with their representative so
that each student represents
about the same number of
students.
The proposed regrouping
of divisions for representa
tion is: 1) agricultural eco
nomics; 2) agricultural edu
cation, mechanized agricul
ture and agricultural journa
Item; 3) agricultural honors,
general agriculture, two-year
programs and undeclared;
4) animal science; 5) pre
veterinary science; 6) gener
al agronomy, soil science
and plant pathology; 7)
food science and technology,
liortlculture, entomology
and poultry science; 8) nat
wal resources and pre
forestry. Rasmusscn, a senior agri
culture major from Mead,
said the election probably
will be within tba next two
weeks because special elec
tions of lids kind must
occur at least two months
prior to the ASUN Senate
