Gallery presents
two Iowa artists
During February, the Haymarket Art Gallery will
feature the works of two iowans, John Gordon and Tom
Hamilton.
Gordon, from Sioux City, will display seriographs and
paintings Haymarket's literature describes him as a
"master of silk screen technique."
Gordon's concepts are characterized by "clear, har
monious colors and simplified, stylized, thoughtful
composition." Hamilton's exhibit will feature stoneware.
He will display more than 300 pieces of pottery, a Hay
market spokesman said. The Haymarket also lists his
style as well-thrown" and "well-constructed" using "rich
colors and strong designs."
Hamilton now is a Council Bluffs, Iowa art teacher.
These shows will run until March 1.
NETV needs actors
for duo comedy team
The Nebraska Educational Television Network
(NETV) needs two actors to play a magician-assistant
comedy duo for one of their productions.
The shooting time will be minimal and will occur
the first part of February. The actors will be paid
for this and should call 464-6216 for more information.
