New information obtained by former
Los Angeles County prosecutor Vincent
Bugliosi shows that more than one person
fired shots in the hotel pantry where
Robert F. Kennedy was killed, according
to Jeff Cohen, spokesman for the Assassin
ation Information Bureau.
Cohen told an audience at the Nebraska
Union Thursday that two Los Angeles
policemen have admitted to Bugliosi that
a photograph 'taken of them shortly after
the shooting shows them pointing to two
or more bullet holes in a door.
Those bullet holes, Cohen said, show
that more than eight bullets were fired as
Kennedy left a celebration following his
California primary election victory in
1968.
Held eight bullets
Cohen said the gun fired by Sirhan
Sirhan, convicted of killing Kennedy, held
only eight bullets.
Los Angeles County Coroner Thomas
Noguchi has said the fatal shot was fired
from about two inches behind Kennedy.
Cohen said eyewitnesses have testified that
they saw Sirhan firing a gun, but got no
closer than one and one-half feet from
Kennedy.
He said Allard Lowenstien, former New
York congressman and presently an aide to
California Governor Jerry Brown, is
attempting to have spectrographic and
molecular analysis done on all bullets re
covered from the shooting scene to deter
mine if they were identical.
Ballistics tests performed thus far on the
bullets have been inconclusive, Cohen said.
Reopen investigation
He said the Assassination Information
Bureau supports attempts in the U.S.
Senate and House of Representatives to re
open investigations into the deaths of
Kennedy, Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr
President John Kennedy and the attempted
assassination of Alabama Gov. Georee
Wallace. 5
Cohen said he is not sure that there has
been a conscious coverup of events
surrounding Robert Kennedy's death, but
that the official version of President John
F. Kennedy's assassination is false.
He said the recent CBS news docu
mentary on Kennedy's death pointed out
some unanswered questions, but ignored
others.
"Fluffed" efidence
The CBS documentary "fluffed over"
evidence provided by Abraham Zapruder's
film of the shooting and other photo
graphic evidence, he said.
That evidence, according to Cohen,
shows that while the President and Texas'
Gov. John Conally should both be react
ing to wounds caused by a single bullet, if
the Warren report is to be believed,
Connally shows no reaction and Kennedy
has obviously been hit much earlier.
Cohen said the CBS report and the War
ren report back the contention that a
bullet could have passed through Kennedy,
through Connally's torso, breaking two
ribs, and shattering his wrist, and
finally lodging in the thigh to be found at
Parkland hospital with its copper jacket
completely intact.
Cohen said he believes the two were
shot by as many as three gunmen, perhaps
including Lee Harvey Oswald, and as a re
sult of a conspiracy partially disclosed by
former New Orleans District Attorney Jim
Garrison.

Lincoln regent Ed Schwartzkopf said
Bruce Wright, attorney for the NU Board
of Regents, has advised him to refrain from
commenting on collective bargaining for
the UNL faculty.
The Nebraska State Court of In
dustrial Relations ruled last week that the
UNL faculty tmy form a bargaining unit
and choose a bargaining agent to represent
them. An election will be held February 16
to decide the questions.

set aside if statements attributed to
Schwartzkopf in the Dec. 1 issue of the
Daily Nebraskan and a Nov. 25 taped in
terview with Schwartzkopf on KLIN radio
are proved to have prejudiced the outcome
of the election. The election would be set
aside only if the faculty votes down collec
tive bargaining.
Schwartzkopf said Thursday he is
neither for or against a faculty bargaining
unit, and did not mean to imply that
he was.
