The church's main function, he said, will be to preach the Bible, "but the church must go one step further by actually helping people," he said. An ideal environment for the young and old to interact will be offered, he said, add ing that senior citizens in the retirement home will often be entertained by songs and stories of the children from the day care center. The church will be at First and Fair field streets in northwest Lincoln, an ares which Harms said greatly needs these ser vices. Four units Oak Lake Bible Church will have four units that Harms said ho -w iivva TV4JU W completed in less than eight years. According to Harms, unit one, to be finished next fall, will be a large two-tory classroom complex divisible by folding doors Unit two will be a gym that will double as a sanctuary and unit three will be classrooms surrounding the gym. Adjunct to the main building will be unit four, the retirement home. Harms said he got the idea of a multi purpose church several years ago when Jie was taking a child to a day care center and discovered Lincoln's need for day care cen ters. At that time Harms was contractor for Holmes Park Bible Church where a snow storm had halted construction. . Day care plans adapted 'The plans were adapted during the de lay and now Holmes Park Bible Church has a federally, state and city licensed day care center for 70 to 80 children," he said. "We want to stress the family as a unit," he said. Another proposal by Harms will involve UNL foreign students in the church. He said often thousands of dollars are spent sending missionaries overseas when people could be instructed as missionaries in this country and become missionaries when they return to their homelands. Harms said he will pay the church's architectural designer by giving him flying lessons and Richard Reeves, who is in the process of completing the basic drawings, will "swap services." Speaker to discuss RFK shooting New evidence about the Robert Kennedy assassination,' never before re leased to the public, will be presented by Jeff Cohen from the Assassination Infor mation Bureau when he speaks at the Ne braska Union Ballroom Thursday at 8 pjn. A writer and lecturer, Cohen has spent two years investigating political assassina tions and domestic espionage. His research has focused on connections between Watergate and the JKF assassina tion. Cohen suggests that Martin Luther King assassin James Earl Ray was framed to cover the real assassins, former CIA em ployes." He believes that Lee Harvey Oswald was framed for the same reason. The home movie taken in Dallas by Abraham Zapruder at the time of the John Kennedy assassination will be shown. Cohen will tape a program on these as sassinations which will be aired next month on the public cable television channel. Union interviews scheduled . UNL Endish Professor David Hibler pleaded innocent in Lincoln Municipal Court Monday, to charges that he allowed three goats to graze in Wilderness Park. Hibler's trial date is set for Dec. 22. Hibler originally refused to appear in court and an arrest warrant was issued Nov. 3. Hibler would have been arrested, but he agreed to appear in court. He said that Park Ranger Don Jenkins, who issued the citation, had no authority to arrest him on his own property for a non-criminal act committed by goats that were not his and that the action is a result of a civil dispute between himself and Jenkins. Hibler said a horse belonging to Jenkins damaged his fence. i i i These and ail other questions answered here. . test your ull mill j oiCfCO In mill 1 - ImamOm v I III I i i i i Associate Degrees (18 Months) tzzznt lislsstrttisa Lefi! h&tct Q Prcftsdsstl S::rst:rhS hiznl Iczzi & Crsstf Diploma Programs (12 Months) Esssztfra Sssrsterk!
