East Union posts open Interviews for five executive positions on the East Union Program Council will be Sunday from 2 to 5 pjn. at the East Union, according to Ron Burrus, East Union manager. The council has 15 members, Burrus said. Positions open axe president, vice president, secretary, program coordinator, and financial coordinator. The new execu tives will choose the remaining ten mem bers, who will be council committee chair persons, he added. Executives will be chosen by two cur rent members of the East Union Program Council, two representatives from the Union Board, which governs both the East Union and Nebraska Union on City Campus, and Burrus, he said. The executives will be notified of their acceptance the day of the interviews, and will take office two weeks later after a training course. Burrus said the new councfl will be instrumental in establishing policies and budgets for the new East Union, which will open next fall. Most members of past councils have lived on East Campus, Burrus said, adding that he encourages anyone to apply for the positions by signing up for an interview appointment at the East Union Office.
