Flies have been driving
UNL students up the wall
this semester and a UNL
entomology professor said
tile flies will probably be
back next year.
Bob RoseQe said there is
no way to cc itrol the
flies. They can't be sprayed
because they develop
immunization, he said.
Roselie said there may
have been - more flies this .
year because more eggs were
hatched in the spring. Each
female fly can lay 400 to
500 eggs, which hatch in 10
to 14 days during the
months from April to Oct.
