Lincoln Police Department and the County Sheriff's Office, as well as information gathered from my own investigation. The total investigation reveals that Initial " in volvement with Sherdell Lewis took place by the Lincoln Police Department on (Sept. 17) and with the Lancaster County Sheriff's' Office on (Sept. 22). In separate actions the narcotics section of each office made arrangements with undercover contacts to initiate buys of controlled substances from Sherdell Lewis. Those buys resulted in obtaining from Sherdell Lewis or his residence, marijuana, as well as a substance which was sold as cocaine and field tested cocaine. On the basis of information gathered in this initial involvement a search warrant was procured from the county court judge, which search warrant affidavit revealed that a confidential re liable informant had observed Sherdell Lewis when he possessed controlled substances. The in formant obtained controlled substances from Sherdell Lewis for resale. After procuring the signature of the county court judge to search the residence of 2284 Potter Street. . . , arrangements were made by the Lincoln Police Department, the Sheriff's Office and Nebraska State Patrol to execute the search. For that purpose a olanning session was commenced at the Lincoln Police Department offices. The planning session continued for. . . 45 minutes to one hour. During the discussion in the planning session, involving 12 to 14 officers, the following Information was made available to all officers: That Sherdell Lewis kept trained Doberman dogs believed to be four in number, one of which was believed to be a trained attack dog; that Lewis wes believed to have a handgun near his chair in the livingroom of his residence; that Lewis had previously stated that he would not let any police officers take him alive; that he had advised a policeman that if he tried to arrest him that the policeman's widow would be collecting Insurance; that Lewis had threatened to turn the Doberman dog loose on a police officer or any one else coming to his residence. Factual circumstances. . . revealed that Lewis did not have a handgun in his home, but he did Unkj Hiflt Pfittill Uorli Siries Silariay ilUmn fgittill (STANDARD) m m Western Human Potential Institute Presents BodyMindSpirit WITHOUT, LIMITS i H I A m uctooor doocial a FEE Coding System Flash with dn. 2 gsL Anti-Freaze p&rchata Some People Want Help You Can Help The Open Door Health Center needs volunteers to help in Drug Crisis Inter vention.
