"It's a challenge to get a point across without using words," he said. "A lot of values get lost when you speak." ; Y The 23-ycar-old Berger started street perform ing in New York in the late 1960s, creating his own routines and experimenting with them in Washington Square Park. He later studied with the American Mime Theatre in New York City, where he now teaches. Response to the performance was so great that Pain Kinic, chairperson for the Union Atts Com mittee, said efforts are being made to arrange his return in the spring.
