    Chicano
Chicano Culture Days, sponsored by the Mexican
American Student Association (MAS A) began Friday
with a dance at the National Guard Armory and will
continue through April 27, with all major activities
scheduled for next weekend.
The culture days will include panel discussions,
dinners, dances, and a Spanish mass.
Friday's activities will include a welcoming
program at 2 p.m. in the Nebraska Union small
auditorium. An announcement of weekend activities
and a series of films will be shown, according to
Marty Ramirez, MASA adviser.
At 6 p.m. Friday a dinner will be held in the
Harvest room of the Union. Guest speaker will be

community issues. Panel members will include

and the Lincoln and Omaha communities.
Saturday afternoon, a panel discussion with
professors in Chicano Studies and Teachers College
will begin at 1:15 in the Union Small Auditorium.
Professors Ralph Vigil and Ralph Grajeda will
represent Chicano Studies, and professors Joe
Aguilar, Nicholas Aeyta, and Charlos Vallejo will

"Cervantes y los Caballeros", a musical group from
Omaha, will play at a dance at 8 p.m, in the National
Guard Armory, 1776 N. 10th.
A film, "Salt of the Earth" will be shown Sunday
at noon at St. Mary's Church, 14th and K streets. The
film will be followed at 2 pjn. by a Spanish mass at
the church.
