For every woman who plans to have children any time in the future, knowing her
rubella immunity level is vital. You may have read or heard that if a woman contracts
rubella (German measles) during the early months of pregnancy, there is considerable risk
that the baby will be born with abnormalities.
To avoid such risks, the State Health Department and University Health Center are
making the immunity test and if needed, the vaccine, available to UN-L females. The
charge of $2.00 covers cost of postage and time of UN-L lab and clinic personnel. This
will be available only through April 25, 1 975.

Loser says popularity
decided RHA race

"If there would have been more time to deal in ideas rather- than
popularity, I think I would have done better," Walden said.
Walden, who ran unsuccessfully for ASUN first vice president
on the Pro-Apathy ticket, said he is willing to help RHA if Ihne
will let him.
Two consititutional amendments were passed by a large margin.
One gives the RHA election committee, the power to determine
the date of elections, if it has the council's approval.
The second amendment requires the vice president to assist the
president with his duties.
