UNL Career Planning and Placement Center is conducting V V OrKhnn workshops to help students prepare for job interviews. WI IWI The first workshop was held Tuesday. The second will be held d next Tuesday at 7 p.m. in the Nebraska Union small auditorium. yiCO The workshop will deal with the job interview and how to Procedures for signing up for on-campus interviews through the i Placement Center also will be discussed. Registration packets will then be distributed to students who have not reeistered throueh the Placement Center and procedures 11 iw a Q for this will be explained, he said. I'CI V 1 VV O "I think this will be by far the biggest attempt to supply information en masse to concerned students," he said. Listings of interviews according to majors are being offered for . the first time by the Placement Center. Christenson said this will eliminate periodic checking by students to see what companies are interviewing tor certain majors. Most interviews will be completed by mid-March and Christenson urged students to sign up for interviews as soon as possible. Fewer companies are interviewing this year and appointments will be somewhat harder to obtain, Christenson added. Although the center does provide individual counseling, students are requested to attend the workshop session prior to making an appointment for counseling. therapy, special education, general science, and vocational agriculture. The Physical Fitness Research Laboratory of the Nebraska Center for Health Education has received a grant from the Epilepsy Foundation of America for research on epilepsy and related convulsive disorders. The purpose of the study will be to dispel misconceptions about the ability of epileptics to participate in physical exercise. Persons with epilepsy or related disorders desiring more information at no obligation may call the Physical Fitness Research Laboratory, 472-2297.
