We just can't do something for Benson without doing it for other schools." He said that wouldn't - necessarily have been the case except for the headlines in The Omaha World-Herald telling of the imminent death of the Benson High News. Hanna listed possible solutions, such as a reduction of the number of issues, more advertising or lower quality of production. Barnhart and Hanna also said that one area advertising 'agent had offered to absorb the costs of production of a single paper for the entire district, with separate sections for each school, for advertising sales rights. Editor Garrett of the News said he doubted the feasibility of such a project. "I don't think that person knows what he's getting into. The rates and percentage of advertising would have to be extremely high." Horn said he remains optimistic about the future. "I still think the administration will see the light and not let our paper die after 46 years.
