HOLIDAY EGGNOG
12 eggs
1 box cor Fectioner's sugar
y'i pt. whipping cream
3qt.mi!K
Beal gg yolks: add sucar and cream
graduallv. Add mllK. Beat until thick Whip egg
whiles, iold in eggnog. Sprinkle with nutmeg.
Yield: 1 gallon.
This basic eggnog recipe can be
served to your family or non-alcoholic
friends. However, for your friends who
enjoy tippling a bit, I suggest you try
these variations. If you have neither,
time nor inclination to prepare the
authentic eggnog from the recipe above,
commercially prepared eggnog will do
nicely. You may choose to add more
liquor than these recipes call for, Be
sure, though to start with prechilled
ingredients and glasses. Stir well and be
sure to sprinkle nutmeg on top. Eggnog
drinks are most fashionably served in 4
ounce nugs or punch cups.
