Records on sale
New albums ordered
Two hundred new record albums have been ordered
for use during second semester and more records will
be purchased each month second semester. Mostly
bluegrass and classical music were purchased because
they are the types that go in nd out of the library the
most, Ruth Brokering, chairwoman of Art and Record
Lending Library, said.
"Students are invited to check the list of records
available for purchase and make suggestions, she said.
About 800 records are now available in the library
including jazz, classical, bluegrass, rock, easy listening
and sound tracks.
To make room for the new albums, older records are
being sold Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday of this
week for a price of less than a $1 each, Brokering said.
In closing first semester business, Brokering said all
records are due this week and all art prints are to be
returned to the South Conference Room of the
Nebraska Union between 11 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. Friday.
