34 Nebraska Union, Lincoln, Nebraska 68508
Nov 25 1914 "Will there be any girls there? -Will
the boys come? - Is it a sure thing? - Will
there oe a place for those who won t dance? - WiN
here-V' but here the patient listener fainted and
was carried away, and the Inquisitive One pursued
his way across the campus, leaving a trail of
aasoina struqqling victims.
9 -To all these questions can be given one
answer "Yes " For a number of days committees
have been actively at work on the various duties
and promise that the first "mixer at the
University will be a success. Many have thought
that there would be an overwhelming majority of
ciirls present, and the fairer sex are looking for
more girls in the belief that they will be
outnumbered by the boys. There is not the least
fear that Nebraska's novel society stunt will be
lacking in attendance."
"Nebraska's first "All University Party" was a
startling success. All expectations were so far
exceeded in reality that the pleasure of the
committee was forced to give way before their
anwement. Plans had been made for an
attendance of not to exceed five hundred at the
most. By the close of the evening one thousand
persons had been through trie nans.
