Minority students dance
at Ramada Inn Saturday
Minority students can find a "cultural outlet" in a
dance Saturday at 8:30 p.m., a member of the
sponsoring fraternity, Kappa Alpha Psi, said
Wednesday.
Derrick Johnson said the band Soul-Steal will provide
entertainment directed toward minority students.
"Most dances in Lincoln are directed to white
students," he said. "At this dancer minority students
can hear the music they want to hear."
The dance will be at the Ramada Inn and tickets will
be sold only at the door. Single tickets are $2.50, and
tickets for couples are $4.
