    Group planned to study input
Dissatisfaction from some UNL facul
ty members over the circulation of
UNL's updated five-year plan has led
James C. Kimberly, professor of
sociology, to suggest the creation of an
ad hoc Faculty Senate committee to
study ways to increase faculty input into
the University.
His suggestion came during the Nov.
12 f-acuity Seriate meeting, but the
motion will net come before the Senate
until the Dec. .10 meeting, according to
Faculty Senate president Richard
Gilbert.
The five-year plan is "the working
document for the University," which
outlines the planned future of the
University.
Paul Olson, professor of English,
raised the question of inadequate
circulation of the update among the
faculty. This led to the suggestion by
Kimberly to study ways in which faculty
interests can be best represented,
