Thody said landscap ing, one of the major projects for the grounds crew over the next two seasons, will include planting native grasses, shrubs and large trees. "We're going to try to make the area look as natural and beautiful as possible" he said. The grounds crew con sists of about 40 full-time employes and 15 part-time student employes and is responsible for the UNL grounds. This includes planting trees, shrubs, and flowers, maintaining sidewalks and parking lots and campus lighting according to Thody. Besides the library ad dition, the grounds crew will also be working on other construction areas around the campus. The grounds crew just finished planting the grass on campus two weeks ago.
