Intramural By Larry Stunkel. All three top-rated UNL intramural football teams advanced to the semi final round of the men's all-university flag football championship, posting impressive wins Tuesday. In the top game Wednesday night, first-rated Abel 8 met second-ranked 161 beat the Kadets 24-6 to capture the round. While 1641 had no trouble beating Phi Gamma Delta B 31-13 Tuesday, Abel 8 narrowly defeated the fifth-ranked Space Kadets 27-26. The night before, 1641 beat the Kaets 24-6 to capture the Independent A title. In other action Tuesday, Fraternity A champ Beta Sigma Psi downed Harper, 4, 28-8 in the semis with the Beta Sigs, eliminating Abel 7B 33-12.
