Superpoll 74 results give
some indication of wheth
er students will be show
ing up at the polls to vote.
Superpoll questions
were asked of 406 UNL
students in on-the-street
interviews, during Octo
ber. The poll was con
ducted for the Daily Neb
raskan by Community Re
sponse, Inc., a Lincoln
polling firm. Students in
I terviewed formed a pro
portional representation
of students in various
categories including living
units, age groups and
class levels.
Other student attitudes
explored by the poll in
clude opinions on Presi
dent Ford's pardon of
former president Nixon
and amnesty for draft
evaders.

cluded: Former President
Richard Nixon, Alabama
Gov. George Wallace and
Senator Sam Ervin (N.C.).
According to one respond
ent, "They're ail dead."
Presidential possibili
ties suggested included
Secretary of State Henry
Kissinger, vice president
designate Nelson Rocke
feller and "a socialist of
intellectual merits."
