Orchesis, a modern dance club, will have an
open meeting featuring short dance perform
ances in the dance studio of the Women's PE
Building from 7 to 9 p.m. today.
Anyone interested in becoming an official for
this fall's flag football competition should attend
the organizational meeting at 7 p.m. Thursday in
the small auditorium of the Nebraska Union.
Friday is the deadline for all flag football team
entries. 'For further information contact the
Intramural Office at 1740 Vine Street.
The Young Americans for Freedom will sponsor
a debate about abortion Thursday at 8:30 p.m. in
the Nebraska Union. The Rev. Charles Stephen of
the Unitarian Church in Lincoln will defend
abortion. He will be opposed by Robert Stock,
UNL English professor.
The annual ROTC Fall Recognition Day will
start at 12:30 p.m. Thursday, at the Morrill Hal!
auditorium.
There will be a two-day symposium on the
techniques of protein analysis for use in clinical
and biological laboratories Thursday and Friday at
the Nebraska Center for Continuing Education.
The symposium is sponsored by the University
of Nebraska College of Dentistry and the Lincoln
Medical Research Foundation and is the first of
its kind to be presented in the Midwest.
Lincoln Community Concerts is selling tickets
for its five concerts this year. Memberships are $6
for students and $12 for adults. For more
