Dr. Hubble earned his M.D. from the Chicago Medical School and did his work in psychiatry at the NU College of Medicine's Nebraska Psych iatric Institute. He has been a staff psych iatrist at eh Lincoln Regional Center and the NU Health Center, and was executive director of the Child Guidance Center in Lincoln. He will supervise the operations of the Health Center and will be directly in charge of medical and mental health services. The search committee has held its first meeting. Members are Dr. William F. Nye, a Lincoln physician; Ms. Doris Johnson, director of laboratory services; and Dr. Ralph A. Ewert, physician at the Health Center; Dr. Robert B. Kugel, dean of the College of Medicine; and Ms. Lois Merrill associate dean of the College of Nursing, NUU Medical Center; Dean Ely Meyerson, Office of Student Affairs; and Ms. Diane Duven, a student. Another student will be appointed later. Acording to Vice Chancellor Bader, the committee is seek ing a director who would be an M.D. and would have strong administrative experience and capabilities. Thomas Fritz, a professor of piano at the University of Nebraska - Lincoln, and Cary Lewis, who serves in the same capacity at Nebraska Wesleyan University, will be playing Rachmaninoff s light "Fantasy (Suite No. 2), Op. 5 for Pianos" and Bartok' abrasive "Sonata for Two Pianos and Percussion." Fritz described Russian composer Rachmaninoff i work as "lush, melodious and very easy to listen to."
