Steve Kay proposing an investigation of the local book stores was passed unanimously by the ASUN Senate Wednesday night. The resolution calls for an investigation of the profit margin of the book stores, book -exchanges and relative position of other campus book stores in the Big Eight. An ad hoc committee was formed to research this resolution and report its findings to the senate. Membership in ad hoc committees is open to all. students. Endorsement of a pancake feed, sponsored by Delta Delta Delta sorority and Beta Theta Pi fraternity, closed out ASUN business. Proceeds from the feed, which will be held Monday, will go to the All University Fund, a charitable organization. , Religion policy before CSL Opposing sides of the regents' policy on religion and a visit from Vice Chancellor of Student Affairs Ken Bader about the University - Health Center .(UHC) controversy' 'are scheduled for the Council on Student Life (CSL) meeting Thursday. The public meeting will be held fet 7 p.m. in'the Nebraska 'Union Pewter Room.' vu' y'v '' The religion problem"3 was brought to CSL Chairman Don Shaneyfelt by Joe Eisenberg, a UNL student. Eisenberg complained that the regents' policy was being violated by religious groups coming to Abel Hall where he lives. Since then, other students have complained that the policy is too strict, th3t it does not allow Christians freedom to express their beliefs. Both sides are expected to attend the meeting. Bader has been invited to explain the UHC reorganization and the resulting controversy. Two UHC physicians have resigned and 27 threatened to resign in a letter to Chancellor James Zumbergc.
