c Food club smorgasbord ppen sunaay Assorted cheeses with crackers, lasagna, salad and coffee, will be served Sunday at the annual cheese smorgasbord sponsored by the Food Sciences Club. The smorgasbord will be open between 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. in the East Campus Food and Nutrition Bldg. Admission will be $1.5Q; for adults, 75 cents for children. '-;( :'V Much of the cheese has been donated by dairy producers in the state. ' The smorgasbord-is-not a fund raising project, but is one way of making people aware of cheese varieties and the fact that cheese making is a growing Nebraska industry. '. Campaigning to educate constituents about the University, UNL student Tim Evensen Thursday filed for the Board of Regents in Nebraska's Sixth District. Sixth District Regent J. G. Elliott of Scottsbluff has not filed for re-election. The filing deadline is today. fc "The main objective of my campaign is nptjto win, but to educate the people in that district about the University and about the regents," Evensen said. Evensen, 21, a junior originally from Long Island, N.Y., has undergone two residency changes to make him eligible for the Sixth District race. He established his Nebraska residency last year and is now officially from Plainview. This new course will be taught in two sections; each section will consist of three-5 week "mini-courses" with no prerequisites. Students may take 1, 2, or 3 of the "mini-courses" and receive 1 , 2, or 3 credits. Three credits cinstitutes the full semester course but students may register for only those particular "mini- , courses" that suit their needs and interests. These courses provide flexibility in satisfying science group requirements in several colleges.
