The ASUN Liaison program has a new
name because its coordinator has a new title.
But some confusion exists as to whether
the communications program is effective,
regardless whether its name is old or new.
Tcdd f "cDsrsie!, coordinator of th8
ASUN program, recently has been named
chairman of tha Union Program Council's

Beth Popken, head resident in
International House, agreed.

and both SA's mentioned it at their floor
meetings, but nobody volunteered.
Everybody here feels ASUN is ineffectual

McDaniel said that he is "having some
problems" in getting his group organized this
semester and "finding enough staff." But
those coordinators and liaisons he has
contact with are "really enthused," he said.
Steven Heldt, residence director at Harper
Hall, said the liaisons "did a good job of
publicizing the ASUN book exchange."
Most Greek houses indicated the liaisons
were an important source of information
about campus activities.
