A final vote on whether to take control of the campus could come during the meeting, which is scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. in the NU Systems Bldg. The regents have sought for a year to take the property without taxpayer cost, but have been stymied by opposition from the governor and a special committee report. The board's property committee recently conducted a meeting at Scottsbluff to investigate using the location for an expanded University agricultural research program. The regents are also scheduled to take action on a mastet contract for University life and health insurance programs. Another item for consideration is salary raises of $500 to $2,000 for UNL's football coaches. Tom Osborne, head football coach, would have his annual salary raised from $24,000 to $26,000. 18th & M.
