I ' ' I l-l i I A I R . , , Booth geared to social drinker In an attempt to educate students about the effects of alcohol on driving, the Lincoln Alcohol Safety Action Project's "Alcohol Quotient" booth is on display in the Nebraska Union lounge. The booth is "geared to the social drinker," according to Kae Skinner, community education specialist. It measures the blood alcohol content for each succeeding alcoholic beverage while taking into account an individual's weight. The intent of the program, Skinner said, is to "reduce alcohol-related fatalities, injuries and property accidents." Most of the program's emphasis is try ;: . identify the "problem drinker," who an o j for one-third of all highway fatalities, she s A driver with just .05 of one per coin alcohol in the bloodstream is twice as likely be involved in an automobile accident sober driver, she said.
