"Footballs will fill the airways" is an old sports adage
which should typify today's game as 11th tanked Nebraska
faces the 18th ranked University of Kansas Jayhawks in
Memorial Stadium.

passer in the Big 8 conference. After five games, Jaynes has
completed 79 of 140 passes for a total of 965 yards. He has
thrown only one pass interception and has 8 touchdown passes
to his credit.
Receiving Jaynes' passes will be split end Emmett Edwards
and flanker Bruce Adams. Edwards is the third leading receiver
in the conference with 19 catches for 304 yards and Adams is
the league's fourth leading receiver with 19 catches for 2G8
yaids and six touchdowns.

Edwards to form the Jayhawk offense. Providing protection
